MEMBERSHIP

Bowdon is a successful open membership club and always very happy to welcome new members. Complete the membership form and you are well on the way to becoming a member. No need for proposers and seconders and don’t forget your membership gives you access to four sports.

Membership

Playing membership entitle you to play all four sports, (cricket, hockey, racket ball and squash) with special subscription rates for juniors, students and under-30’s. In addition to playing membership, we also have a large number of social members who join the club to use the bar and pavilion facilities.

Bowdon Club Cards
Members who are 18 years old and are up to date paying their subscription via the Go Cardless system will have preferential pricing on the purchase of alcoholic drinks. All bar payments are by credit or debit card and the Bowdon Club Card can be loaded making payment simple and secure.

All payments for Club membership are by GoCardless. Junior members must become members of the club, and then the section may choose to levy a training fee to cover dedicated coaching costs.

*A Student is someone who is 18 and over in full-time education.
**An Away Student is a former member who is away at University and wants to play/use the club during holidays.
***Non Playing Membership is only available to Former Full Playing Members and is game limited to 5 per annum.
****Country Membership is available for those living more than 30 miles from the club.

 

Members should check with the section of the sport they wish to play for other associated costs such as match fees, coaching / training frees or court fees.

 

 

Additionally, there are ceilings to junior participation in the cricket and hockey sections. Please contact the section for further information.

Bowdon Club has carried out a review and formalisation of our data processes in order to ensure that we are compliant with the new regulations and continue to act in the best interests of our members.
