We are a long-established sports club offering Cricket, Hockey, Squash and its exciting new derivative, Racketball, all for one subscription. With solid roots within the community of Altrincham, South Manchester, we are an open club that welcomes all abilities. Bowdon Club is a not-for-profit sports club that reinvests any surplus in our club facilities.
When you join us, we will find you a place to play competitive sports and will offer you the chance to maximise your potential and be matched against players of the same standard. This could be in a club team or through intra-club competition. We have a robust youth development system supported by our coaching teams and volunteers. Our local support extends to supporting groups such as Flyerz Hockey, enabling disabled and non-disabled players to play together.
Our club runs in such a way that beginners have the chance to become competent, and elite players go on to representative honours or be nationally ranked in their sport. Amongst our members, we have numbered Olympians and national representatives at junior, senior and veteran levels. Our 1st teams are very successful, with all of them playing in the highest possible league they can, whether Regionally or Nationally.
