PETER WATT & ADELE BREALEY
Peter now a 3rd Dan Martial Arts Instructor joined Tang Soo Do with his son as a family activity and they completed the Blackbelt test together! He now runs the full-time centre in Swinton whilst holding classes at the Bowdon Club.
Adele is a 3rd Dan Blackbelt on my way to achieving Masters rank (4th Dan) and started Tang Soo Do at 5 years old as a way to build confidence and learn to defend myself,
“Tang Soo Do is a fantastic activity for the whole family to do together. We cater for ages 4+ through to adults – it is something that all ages can enjoy. Tang Soo Do focuses on the whole person – it isn’t just about kicking and punching – we teach respect, help with discipline, help build confidence, and of course keep you fit and healthy at the same time.”
“We are a defence-based martial art that dates back over 2,000 years and is based upon techniques adopted from Chinese warriors of the Tang Dynasty (618-906 AD). These techniques were then merged with Korean fighting arts to form Tang Soo Do.”
“The best part about the martial art, is that you never stop learning – no matter what rank you progress to, there is always more to learn, it’s a journey that never ends.”
